NOTD | OPI Pros & Bronze

This week, I've been sporting an OPI Nail Varnish. It is one of my sisters, that she picked up in TKMaxx in a set. Me being me, I jumped at the chance when she offered to let me borrow them- as who knows when the next chance will be!
Pros & Bronze is a beautiful shimmering golden bronze that looks amazing with any skin tone.
This nail polish looks so flattering on the nails and I have had loads of compliments when wearing it!
It applies like a dream, and although coat 1 is sheer, after a second one, you have opaqticity, and a simply stunning metalic gold/peach/orange/bronze.
It is a really versitile, that could look summery and chirstmassy at the same time!
I absolutly love it- and it is not full glitter, so it is not too in your face! Never the less, I'm not really looking forward to removing it!

What are your thoughts?

Olympic Winners: Nailcare Edition

This is the final post is the Olympic Winners series, and to be honest with you, I thought I would have finished it by now! But I've been so busy, I've had no time to draft it! Watching the Paralympic Opening Ceremony has given me the inspiration and kick up the backside to get on with it! So here it is, at long last, the Nailcare Edition!

Max Factor Max Effect Mini Nail Polish in Graffiti is taking bronze. When on the nails, this is the most beautiful, shimmery teal blue. It is very glittery, so does have a rather gritty feel on the nails, but it looks so beautiful in different light, it is somehow worth the ten minutes scrubbing to remove it! You can find my review here.

In second place is OPI Mini Nail Lacquer in If You Moust You Moust. This is the prettiest, girliest, most flattering shade of pink I have ever come across. It is simply stunning on the nails, and it is just the perfect pink for me! I adore wearing it!

Winning Gold is Barry M Nail Paint in Mushroom. This is an old favourite of mine, that I have somewhat neglected as of late. With is being summer (if you can even call it that)! I have opted for brighter colours, but I will soon be returning to my faithful friend Mushroom as it is my favourite nail colour in the whole entire world!

Hope you have enjoyed this series, and take pleasure in watching the Paralympics, I cant wait until I go to watch Athletics at the Olympic Stadium!

Origins Wednesday Wishlist #10

Today, my Wednesday Wishlist is going to consist of only Origins Products; the reason being- today, whilst browsing the Origins Counter in Peter Jones, Sloane Square, a lovely consultant came over to me, and gave me a facial, using products specified for my skin type and skin needs. I have fallen in love with all of the products she used on me, and I cant wait to buy some of them in the near future!

ROW 1

1. Never A Dull Moment Cleaner- This is a cleanser/facial wash that is to be used morning and night. It smelt gorgeous when it was applied to my skin and made it tingle a little. My skin felt fresh and rejuvenated when it was removed. When I have finished my Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish, this might have to replace it!
RRP: £17- 150ml

2. Mega-Bright Skin Tone Correcting Serum- This product claims to brighten your skin, and after time, fade any blemishes or scars caused by break-outs and UV Light. It is to be used under a moisturiser morning and night. This is the most expensive product of the lot, and I am still unsure of whether it is worth forking out the cash, as I'm not entirely sure if it will work for me. I can't really tell after one use.
RRP: £46- 30ml

3. Balanced Diet Moisturiser- Usually, I use a separate moisturiser for day and night, but this one can be used for both. I suffer with oily skin but sometimes get dry patches around my nose. This moisturiser balances out the oiliness and dryness throughout the day. It is very light and refreshing on the skin and is quickly absorbed.
RRP: £23- 50ml

ROW 2

4. United State Toner- This is another product to balance the skin, is feels lovely and stimulating on the skin, and really revitalises it! Toner is something that I have never really made a big fuss over, I've always been perfectly contempt using Lush Tea Tree Water, but after trying this, it has shown me what a difference a high end toner can make!
RRP: £17- 150ml

5. Super Spot Remover- This product is raved about online by the likes of Zoe and Kayleigh and after trialing it today, I can see why! I have tried my fair share of spot removers in my time, and none have stood out like this one. I felt it work almost instantly, as it tingled away; which gives you a little feeling of satisfaction, as you know its working! The blemishes it was used on are already decreasing in size, which is exactly what I like to see!
RRP: £13- 10ml

6. Modern Friction Exfoliator- After the Spot Remover, this is my favourite product! I love using exfoliators, as I adore the feeling of soft, purified skin, but never have I used an exfoliator that has given my skin such a healthy glow! The lady said 'feel your skin' when she had finished, and I couldn't believe it was my skin! It feels so soft, even now, its unreal! It brightened my skin too! I cannot express my love enough for this product!
RRP: £31- 125ml

Excuse the lengthy post, but I am so smitten with my discovery of Origins products, I could hardly contain my blogging self!

Guest Post- Copper Closet: OUTFIT: Festival Festivities

Hello! So I'm Lauren, the girl behind coppercloset.blogspot.com and the girl infront of the camera on youtube.co.uk/coppercloset27! Both Ellie and I have agreed to do a guest post on each other's blog so head over to mine to check out Ellie's fab review of Benefit's 'That Gal' primer!

So I'm sure many of you will have to been to one or more of the big festivals this year, well I haven't. I'm sure many of you, like my friends, have been to Latitude and V Fest and maybe a few of you have even just got back from Reading, but the only festival I venture out to was my local one. A town called Colchester has a free arts and music festival every year around the end of August - shortened to Colchester Free Fest. I say that I 'ventured' out, really I got a lift ten minutes from my house to the park where it was held. The weather was completely bi-polar and didn't know WEATHER - oh I'm so punny! - it was coming or going. The forecast said sun for one hour and storms and rain for the next three, so I put on jeans, trainers my jacket and grabbed my umbrella. Needless to say, the weather was up to British summer standards - pouring with rain one minute, and the next blaring heat. To be honest, we didn't really see much of the festival. We saw a couple bands and one of our friends perform and, having sat in the park for ages, jet setted it off to McDonalds for some grub. We collected our friend's V Fest pictures and laughed away at them before deciding that we should think about heading home - mainly because the thunder was on its way!
But on another note, this is what I wore down - I thought I'd share because 1) It was my only festival this year and 2) because this weekend's weather was a lot different to that at other festivals.

Jacket - OASIS
Top - Primark
Jeans - Henry Holland @ Debenhams
Shoes - River Island
Bag - Primark

Have you attended any festivals?
What would you/did you wear?

Olympic Winners: Haircare Edition

This is the fourth post in the Olympic Winners Tag and it is about Hair Products!

In Third Place is Superdrug Dry Shampoo in Chocolate Brown. Until this, I was always a user of Batiste Dry Shampoo. You know, the stuff that makes you look like you have really bad dandruff?! But now I have discovered this, I'm never going back! You can't tell at all that it's in your hair, and it freshens it and gives it a bit of extra bounce!

Taking Silver is Catwalk Fashionista Spritz & Shine Heat Safe Styler. I found this in TKMaxx for a bargain price and it is my favourite heat protectant ever! I don't really use heat on my hair- usually only to lightly blow dry it, but this product is so much more than just a heat protectant; it adds shine and detangles too!

Winning Gold is Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Split End Protection Cream. I use this product every single day! I recently dip-dyed my hair, and with it being relatively long, it needs a bit of TLC. After putting this cream in the ends, my hair is softer, shinier, and my split ends are better too! It really is a wonder product!

My Week in Photos #24

Burnham-On-Sea/ Disney Night/ Harvester Recreation/  Mount Pleasant/ Bobby/ OPI/ Bath Time/ The Vampire Diaries/ Slipper Shoes

On Monday, my family and I went to Burnham-On-Sea for the day and on the way back stopped of at Weston Super Mare; which was lovely, as I haven't been to the 'seaside' in ages!
I had some of my friends over and we decided to have a Disney Night. I haven't seen any Disney Films for ages, as all of mine are on VHS! Those were the days!
Mum also recreated a meal that we had at the Harvester which was really yummy!

This week marked the second series of Mount Pleasant, which I think is absolutely hilarious!
You can see above, Bobby having a little snooze, and a picture of me borrowing my sisters OPI, a review will be coming shortly. Its such a beautiful colour!

This morning I used one of m Lush Bathbombs and read my book in the bath.
My Dad came home from town with The Vampire Diaries Season 3, and put it in a little gift bag and left it on my bed! We've got all of the current seasons, and I can't wait until Season 4!
I have been wearing my suede slipper shoes almost all week, I am completely in love!

Hope you had a lovely week!

Olympic Winners: Bodycare Edition

Sorry that I haven't kept on track with this series! This is the third edition and it is bodycare!

In third place is Soap and Glory Hand Food. This is a Soap and Glory cult product and I use this every night. I work in a kitchen as a Saturday job, which can be quite wearing for my hands. I take this in my hand bag, and use it before bed and my hands remain soft. It is defiantly one of the best hand creams I've used and it is relatively inexpensive!

Second is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks. I have medioca stretch marks, and after using this lotion, I have noticed they have reduced in appearance. They have not disappeared completely, but this lotion has made them bearable to live with.

The product taking gold is Soap and Glory Righteous Butter. Again, this is a Soap and Glory cult product and rightly so. This body butter, makes my skin sooo soft! I apply this after a shower or bath and the morning after, I have soft skin ready for summer! (Although summer has pretty much passed now, and my legs didn't see much sun)! This is defiantly a recommendation!

(Late) Wednesday Wishlist #9

Sorry this ones late! I had friends round yesterday, so I wasn't able to devise a post!

1. New Look Cream Lace Cap Sleeve Peplum Top- Next week, Im heading to London for the Paralympics, so a lot of shopping will be on the cards! I met a friend in town, and whilst mooching around New Look, this caught my eye- and I loved it when I tried it on! So typical, when I'm trying to save my money, I like everything I see!
RRP: £16.99

2. Thomas Sabo Key Charm- I've had a Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet for about 3 years now, (and a charm necklace) and I haven't bought a new charm for ages! I adore Tiffany Keys, and I thought if I bought this charm, it would look adorable, not only on the bracelet, but also on my necklace!
RRP: £19.95

3. MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass in Ready or Not- I've been wanting a subtle 'coral' lip gloss for a while now. Something that is effortless, but looks pretty at the same time. I think this one will be perfect and I've heard some good things about MAC Pro Longwear Lipglasses!
RRP: £17

4. NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde- I've seen a few reviews of this on the blogosphere, the lovely Kayleigh from CoutureGirl and Zoe from Zoella have expressed their love for this duo. I love wearing golds and bronzes on my eyes, and I'd like to think this would be perfect for me. The only dilemma is, that I think it may be a little too oranged toned for my green eyes. Its beautiful never the less!
RRP: £24

5. New Look Ponte Skater Skirt- Black skirts are classical, and this style is something you can wear all year. Fleur has worn a skirt similar to this from The Kooples which she has worn in some of her videos, and I think it looks so lovely on! I really like this one from New Look, and as of late, I've been wearing skirt quite a lot, and I think I will carry on to, into Autumn and Winter!
RRP: £14.99

My Week in Photos #23

Joe Malone Shop/ Costa Coffee/ Kingston Shopping Haul/ The Vow/ FOTD/ Cocktails/ Canapés/ Bobby/ Double Trouble

To start this week off, I went shopping in one of my favourite places of all- Kingston-Upon-Thames. My Mum used to live there, so we go there relatively often. To take a break from all the shopping we stopped off at a Costa, where I enjoyed a Vanilla Creamy Cooler, accompanied by a Raspberry Ripple Cupcake! You can see by my bags only, that some hard core shopping went on! When I get my act together, I will take pictures for a haul!

One night, we found ourselves a little lost (with no more Olympics) so we headed to Blockbusters to rent a film. I chose the Vow as I had been desperate to see it ever since it was released! It is so good, but if you are a cryer, have tissues on hand as its a sad one! And prepare to fall even more in love with Channing Tatum!
Tuesday was my Dads birthday, no we took him out for cocktails. FOTD above. I had the most fab cocktail!

We also received complimentary canapes at the cocktail bar, and the coated almonds were to die for! You can see above a little startled looking Bobby. I'm not sure what he was exactly doing, lounging on the beanbag, but he looked so funny!
This week coming, we are looking after our friends dog Dennis, who is the same breed as our Tommy- Border Terrier. Tommy is on the left. They are so funny together!

Hope you had a lovely week!

Olympic Winners: Skincare Edition

This is the second post in my 'Podium Favourites' and it is Skincare Products.

In third place in my skincare lineup is The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment. I have oily skin, and throughout the years, I think I have used everything in The Body Shop Seaweed Range, and this is the product that has stood out. I put it on before my moisturiser and it makes my skin feel great! It is an amazing base. And I do find that my skin is a little less oily through the day, and I get less breakouts after using this!

Taking silver is my Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream. I am still yet to purchase a big pot of this, but it is amazing! Although I have really oily skin, I do get dry patches. When using this moisturiser, dry patches are a distant memory! It smells amazing, and really does the trick!

Winning gold, is the incredibly famous Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This is a cult product in the beauty world, and I am on my second bottle. It is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. It has cleared my skin no end and is amazing for all skin types. I'm sure you've read a hundred and one reviews on it- but it really is fantastic!

Olympic Winners: Makeup Edition

I think its safe to say, we all feel a little empty without the Olympics in our lives. No more thrills of getting golds, (or the trill of seeing Tom Daley in his speedos)! No more getting the little flip in your stomach when you think- 'I am so proud to be British'.
But its not quite over yet. We still have the Paralympics to look over too, and me especially, as not only am I going to watch Paralympic Athletics at the Olympic Stadium, four Paralympians are from my home town!

So on to the post. Kirsty from Behind These Closed Eyes   did a post, on 'Podium Favourites' and with my heart longing for all things Olympics, I thought this would be the perfect post for me!

Taking the Bronze is my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural. I have used this everyday since I bought it at the beginning of February. It is defiantly one of my 'Desert Island' products. I love it! It sets my foundation, and makes my skin look flawless. I can just see a little bit of pan peeking through, and I will without a doubt be purchasing another one!

Coming second with Silver is my Urban Decay Naked Palette. My Dad bought me this as a gift for my birthday back in October, and they are some of the best eyeshadows I own. They are all neutral colours, which are what I wear on a daily basis, and the pigmentation is out of this world! I've just hit pan on my favourite colour- Half Baked, so I'll have  be buying a single one of those!

And winning gold is my Chanel Vitalumier Aqua Foundation. This is my favourite foundation at the moment. It gives my skin a gorgeous glow and my skin looks flawless. It has enough coverage that I sometimes, if my skin is good at the time, I don't need to use concealer. (Although if you prefer a foundation with a higher coverage, this one probably isn't for you!) Which is saying something as I have teenage skin! It's fantastic!

RRP: £16

2. MAC Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch- I have been wanting this eyeshdaow for a while now, and it is just the most perfect everyday colour, that is suitable for all occasions and skin tones! Its defiantly one that most bloggers have in their collection.
RRP: £10/£12

3. Real Techniques Blush Brush- I included some other Real Techniques Brushes in my previous wishlist, and I cant wait to get more! They are amazing quality and value and I find that they really do make my makeup look better!

5. Laura Mercier Petit Patisserie Trio- In Bentalls in Kingston, I came across this set. My mum owns a set a little different to this in the Creme Brule scent, but I'm a bit unsure whether to get the Creme Brule or Pistachio scent? They are equally as delicious! This set contains a shower gel, a body lotion and a fragrance! I have to have one!
RRP: £40

My Week in Photos #22

Hi everyone, I've been having a spot of bother with this post, so I've had to resort to doing it on the iPad with a different mosaic maker! Been a bit of a pain! Especially as I'm trying to watch the Olympic Closing Ceremony! Ho Hum!

This week, Ive been loving my Minnie Mouse OPIs, as you can see above, me sporting some of the colours! Reviews pending! On Monday, me and my best friend Alex caught up, which was lovely, as I hadn't seen her for ages! Whilst reading the September Glamour, I found a page dedicated to nail colours of Autumn; its safe to say I fell in love! In an old style sweet shop, I couldn't resist buying a few of my favourites. Don't they look cute in a little jar?!

On Wednesday, I bought myself a new perfume- Vera Wang Princess. I have been adoring wearing this! My sister and I dug out some old Disney videos to watch! This week marked the return of Beaver Falls. Similar to The Inbetweeners and Misfits, it is British Comedy at its best, and I cant wait until tomorrows episode, and ultimately, seeing Flynn again! *swoon* Also, the hot weather has been having a rather odd effect on the animals. Here you can see Bobby trying to keep cool!

We had a Friday Night Dinner of Steak, and then feeling guilty, I went on the new 'Work Out Machine' (unsure of its real name)! that Dad brought back from work as they were getting rid of it! Tommy enjoyed sunning himself in the garden, where we later enjoyed a delicious BBQ!

I enjoyed wrapping Dads birthday presents as the paper is just so adorable! You've got to love the Muppets! I was so extremely proud of a Mr Tom Daley when he won his bronze medal, and I must admit, I few tears were shed! How can you not love him! Also Mo Farah winning his gold medal- another proud GB moment! Not forgetting all of the other amazing athletes! I cant believe London 2012 is over!
I have loved my new woolly cardy, (although I shouldn't be wearing it in what is supposed to be the Summer Holidays) paired with a Collection Cream Puff! And how sweet are the decorations I used on Dads birthday cupcakes?! London themed- very appropriate! Especially as he is a Grenadier Guard!

Hope you had a lovely week!

Review: Sleek Brow Kit in Dark

Filling in my brows has always been something that I have shied away from a little. After watching Desperate Scousewives, I defiantly didn't want to be left with a scousebrow at the end!! A few months ago, I began filling them in with the matte brow shade in Benefits Big Beautiful Eyes and that was fine for a while, but I had always wanted something that was more suited to eyebrows. (i.e Sleek Brow Kit of Benefit Brow Zings).

With Benefit Brow Zings being a little more on the pricey side, I opted for the Sleek Brow Kit.

This kit looks almost identical to Benefit Brow Zings- the only real difference being Benefit cater for three shades; light/medium/dark whereas Sleek only have two, light/dark.

As the name would suggest, the packaging is very 'sleek' with sturdy black packaging it is the sort of product that you are happy to have displayed on your dressing table.

As you can see from the pictures above, the kit contains a wax and a powder, both to perfect your brows.

Instructions

Use the pigmented wax to define and shape the brows using the angled brush. Then, set the colour with setting powder using the blending brush.

Personally, I don't use the brushes in the kit, I like to use my Ecotools Angled Brush to apply both the wax and the powder, and I find that works really well for me.

Pigmentation

The wax is really pigmented. You only need to dab the brush very lightly in the wax, and you have enough to fill in over half your brow. The powder is just as good, but I find that it is a tiny bit lighter than the wax, so you cant see it, but it does set the wax, and gives the brows a more natural than waxy look.

You can see, that you still keep your natural shape, and they don't look like they are 'drawn on'.

I really like the the way my brows look, and I feel as though my makeup feels complete with my brows filled in. It is a little dramatic for just being around the house, but if I am going out, I will defiantly be filling them in!

Price

This kit is now priced at £8.49. It used to be £7.99, but I think I can live with the extra 50p! It is reasonably priced when compared to the like of Brow Zings, which is £22.50; and I have used Brow Zings before, and there really isn't much of a difference!

Have you tried the Sleek Brow Kit?

Wednesday Wishlist #7

After scouring online clothing stores, and nothing particulaly standing out, I decided to do a Wednesdy Wishlist consisting of beauty products.

1. Vera Wang Princess Perfume- This week marked the fact that my two alternating perfumes ran out. Therefore, I am in the market for a new one. My Mum has had this perfume before, and I just love it! Its so sweet and fruity and totally up my street!
RRP: £34

2. Collection Cream Puff in Cotton Candy- I remember when these were first released, and I never really batted an eyelid at them. But whilst browsing in my local Superdrug yesterday, I tried this one on, and really liked the way it looked. I loved the colour, the finish and the quality is really good too. I kind of regret not buying it as soon as I saw it, but I'm certain there will be other oppertunities!
RRP: £2.99

3. Real Techniques Core Collection- I currently use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and love it. I have had my eye on these for a while and know I will have a use for each brush. I also want the Blush Brush. They are all superb quality and long lasting; providing you take care of them.
RRP: £21.99

4. Yves Saint Laurent Shocking Mascara- I just uploaded a video onto my youtube account, and used the YSL Shocking Mascara on it. Within an hour of it being live, I had a compliment on how long my lashes looked. You can find the video here. I love the consistency of it, and how it makes my lashes look. There will be a review coming shortly!
RRP: £24

Review: MAC Heavenly Creatures Mineralize Blush in Solar Ray

In a previous wishlist I said how much I wanted something from the MAC Heavenly Creatures Collection. I knew that I wanted a blush and the one that stood out to me, was in the shade Solar Ray. It is a beautiful summery, shimmery coral.

Packaging

As usual with MAC products, the packaging never fails to look sleek and up-market. With subtle black shimmer and and a domed clear lid, it oozes sophistication.

Colour

MAC described this blush as

Peach and Gold Melange

It is a dusty peach colour with minimal shimmer as the base, but it then has a shimmery orange gold swirled through it.

Here is a close up of the blush.

Pigmentation

This blush doesn't have the best colour pay off in the world. You get a fair amount of product on your brush, but it doesn't transfer onto you skin. I actually like it like this, as you can build up the colour. It becomes a light golden veil when on the skin. It does contain a LOT of shimmer, so if that's not your thing, I would suggest you avoid this blush!
I love the colour it gives your cheeks, a lovely golden shimmer, which is very summery.

Staying Power

Usually, I find blush is the first thing on my face to go. But I do find that this blush lasts a little longer than those I have tried in the past. I get quite a lot of compliments whilst wearing this blush too.

Price

As expected with MAC products, they are a little on the pricey side, but i my opinion, totally worth it. They are amazing quality and you get a lot of product that lasts a long time for the money.
RRP: £19

The Heavenly Creatures Collection is Limited Edition, but MAC do lots of different blushes. Theres something for everyone!

What are your thoughts?

Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

I'm back in my normal blogging routine- hooray! And with that, I'm in the process of giving my blog a little makeover.
I've got lots of product reviews coming up, but the first one I'm going to do, is a review of Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.

When I finish a foundation; unless it is particularly outstanding, I try a new one. I love trying new products and comparing them.
This foundation is one of the most raved about highstreet/drugstore foundations on the market, and although I am a little late on the bandwagon, I'm going to give you my two pennies worth!

Packaging:

The packaging of the product is nothing special. An average plastic bottle with cap. You get the normal 30ml, but personally, I think it looks a little more when you compare it to the likes of Chanel Vitalumier Aqua, but that's just because its in a longer bottle.

What its supposed to do

All foundations have a purpose. Whether its to create a matte or dewy look, to reduce redness, or even to hide signs of ageing. This foundation contains fruit extracts, and each one claims to do a separate thing for your face.

Apricot- Radiance
Melon- Hydration
Apple- Anti-Oxidant
Ginger- Energy

If you suffer from sensitive skin, this foundation may not be the one for you, as it does contain perfumes with could irritate the skin.

Shade

I use this foundation in the shade 53 Light Beige. It is a very yellow tone shade- quite similar to my Chanel Vitalumier Aqua shade B20.

Texture

At first, this foundation seems very thin and watered down. Its only when you begin to buff it into the skin that it thickens slightly to a creamier finish. I know I keep going on about it, but the consistency is similar to my Chanel if not a bit thicker.

Finish

I find that I over use the word 'dewy' when describing foundations, so I'm going to try and avoid it! This foundation leaves the skin glowing and looks very natural. Mine is the perfect shade for me, so it hardly looks like I am wearing foundation, which is the look that I like to go for.

Coverage

I find that this foundation has very good coverage; which I wasn't expecting. Usually with foundations, you get one or the other. Coverage or a Natural Look. I need the bare minimum of concealer when wearing this concealer.

One minor problem that I find is that is clings to dry patches quite considerably. Now and then, I get dry around my nose, and this foundation was no help with covering it up. I would recommend applying it soon after moisturising if you are prone to dry skin.

Staying Power

I suffer from oily skin, and some foundations end up sliding right off by the end of the day! I am religious about priming my skin, so I find that most foundations stay because of that. This foundation is no exception. With only a little wear by the end of the day, which is something I can live with!

Price

Personally, I think this is very reasonably priced. Although it is quite expensive by highstreet/ drugstore standards, when compared with high end products it is a bargain. The quality rivals some of the high end foundations out there.
RRP: £9.99

Bourjois Healthy Mix is available in the UK at Boots and Superdrug. As for worldwide, I'm not sure. It used to be available at Sephora in the US, but doesn't appear to be now. You can order from asos who ship worldwide, but I don't think it is in stock currently.

Have you tried Bourjois Healthy Mix?

My Week in Photos #22

Tommy listening to music/ Chelsea Wives/ Sleek Brow Kit/ Rhubarb and Custard Drink/ M&S treats/ Tom and his bone/
 Yummy Baked Potato/ Stickers/ MAC Solar Ray/ L'oreal Samples/ She Said/ Lots of reviews to do/
New Blog Header/ Bath Bomb/ Glamour/ Present/ Birthday Cake/ Banoffee Pie

Hi Everyone!

Another new change to my blog- I've started using Instagram photos (follow me: @EJButcher) and a new editing system for my 'week in photos' post.
I started off my week still down in London after watching Beach Volleyball at the Olympics. I finished my very enjoyable book on the iPad- Chelsea Wives by Anna-Lou Weatherley. Its quite 'trashy' but a nice read never the less!
After getting my eyebrows threaded in Superdrug, I invested in the Sleek Brow Kit.
Had a lovely afternoon snack, consisting of my new favourite drink- M&S Rhubarb & Custard Sparkling Drink and Chocolate Bites. While this was happening- Tommy enjoyed a good chew on his bone!
I had a lovely tea of king prawns on a baked potato and bought some letter stickers for my current art project.
MAC Solar Ray has been my blush of choice since I bought it. Review coming soon. When I came home, there was some L'oreal BB Cream Samples waiting for me. And also a She Said box. Review here. I then used the empty box to store products I need to photograph for reviews!
I made a new header for my blog, but as you can probably see, cant get it to the right size! I enjoyed a lovely bath, whilst reading my new Glamour.
My best friend returned from her holiday with a lovely present- Thank you Meg! And I was round at another best friend's to celebrate her birthday- Happy Birthday Holly!
And today, Mum made an amazing Banoffee Pie!

Hope you had a lovely week

Whats in my August She Said Box?

Yesterday, I received my second She Said Box, and although I have enjoyed the experience, I don't think I will continue my subscription. Never the less, I will show you this months products.

I love the way that it is presented!
Reviews of all products are to come!

The first product is White Glo Professional Choice Toothpaste which I am very curious to try, as I am looking for teeth whitening products.

The next product is Balance Me Rose Otto Intensive Lip Salve which I am already loving.

Next is Redken Colour Extend Radiant-10 which I am REALLY excited to try, as I've heard Redken being raved about and I have recently coloured my hair so its a perfect product for me!

Next is Papier Poundre Rachel Powdered Paper which I am a little unsure about. I've never heard of the brand, and the packaging is a little... different.

Finally is Absolutely Flawless Nail Foils and I'm quite excited to try these. Although they are not the style I would pick for myself, I'm excited to see how they transfer to the nails!

Reviews to come!
