Little Lush Haul

Hi Ladies. I've decided to do something new on my blog. Instead of saving up things I buy and doing one huge haul (which is time consuming for me to write and for you to read!) I thought I would just do small hauls more often of bits and bobs I pick up as and when I buy them. The first haul instalment (that has a nice ring to it...) is from Lush; one of my all time favourite shops. Their bath products are second to none and whilst considered to some a luxury, for me they have become a necessity! The first product is Honey I Washed The Kids soap. My all time favourite Lush scent and something I have repurchased many times. I've just finished by bottle of It's Raining Men shower gel (which has the same scent) and thought instead of buying it again I'd revert to my old ways. The ingredients are English Honey, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Beeswax and Bergamot Oil.The scent is incredible and lasts all day. If you haven't smelt it before I urge you to right away! The soap is £3.40 per 100g and I bought roughly 200g. The second product is Twilight bath bomb, another re-purchase. Lush bath bombs are my favourite of their products and this one smells and looks beautiful. The main scents in Twilight are Lavender Oil, Tonka Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid and Ylang Ylang Oil. It's an incredibly relaxing scent and perfect for having a soak in the bath after a long week. Twilight is £3.35. The final product is Dragon's Egg bath bomb. This is sitting as my room as I speak and it is doubling up as an air freshener- it's all I can smell! The main scents are Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Absolute and Popping Candy. It is the most wonderful, uplifting scent. It's not a bath bomb I've tried before so I can't wait to try it! Popping candy and confetti sounds most intriguing! Dragon's Egg is also £3.35. It sounds quite pricy for a bath bomb but they are so big that you could cut them in half and get two baths out of them.

So there's my little Lush haul! I'm sure it won't be long until the next one!

Lots of love,

Book Review: The Best Friends Guide To Life by Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby

I've read another book! This one is a lot different to my last one, Room.

Sorry about the annoyingly small image!

Its the Fearne and Holly 'The best Friends Guide to Life' and it was lent to me by my best friend. (Thank you)!

Its the sort of book that every girl should read, it gives advice on all things, from friends, to work to boys and was really funny too.

Theres no story line or anything, just stories from Fearne and Holly and tips for you.

Its a really fun read, and I recommend it to any young girl!

Lush Soap and Shower Gels

There are two types of people in the Lush world. People who are border line obsessives and those who have tried a few things, but are a bit sceptical. I think you can probably guess which category I fit into!

Two of Lush's best-selling products are their soaps and shower gels, so I thought I'd give you the low down on them.

Soaps:

L-R:

Honey I Washed The Kids- £3.25 per 100g
Angels Delight (Only available at Christmas)- £1.90 per 100g
Rockstar- £3.25 per 100g

The soaps all lather up really well. They really moisturise the skin and smell absolutely gorgeous! The only problem is, the smell doesn't stay on you skin for as long as the shower gels.

Shower Gels:

L-R

Snow Fairy (Only available at Christmas)- £2.99 per 100g
It's Raining Men- £4.25 per 100g

With the shower gels, you only need a really small amount, as they also lather really well. They are really thick and smell very strongly. The smell does linger for longer on your body with the shower gels, especially when you use them in your hair as well. My sister does, and you can smell Snow Fairy on her all day!

Honey I Washed The Kids has the same scent as It's Raining Men.
Rockstar has a similar scent to Snow Fairy.

Which do you prefer? Soaps or Shower Gels?
