Review | Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo & Conditioner

As you may know, for nearly two months now, I have had ombre hair. I love it just as much as I did at the very start, and am doing everything I can to take extra special care of it, as it is more partial to become damaged and dry.
For my birthday, (as well as getting it ombred) my parents bought me the Lee Stafford Bleach Blonds Shampoo. (I then bought the conditioner at Ulta in Florida).
I had never considered a purple shampoo/conditioner to lighten my 'blondness' until Zoe mentioned the Lee Stafford duo in one of her monthly favourites, and ombre hair care video. Zoe being one of the reasons for me changing my hair, (hers is so gorgeous) I knew I should take her recommendation!

With Pro-Blonde complex for bleached or partly bleached highlights or bleached hair. Knocks out brassy, canary yellow tones. To lightly tone, refresh and restore your blonde hair to salon beautiful colour. This mega moisturising blonde bombshell leaves hair looking and feeling super charged. With Moringa Seed extract (also known as Miracle Tree).

Basically, they are meant to make canary yellow tones in your bleached hair, less brassy, leaving you with beautiful golden locks.

I have been using these two products for over a month now on a weekly basis, and I must say, I am very impressed. Having bleached hair means the longer I have it, the more it starts to go a little 'ginger'. Using this shampoo restores the 'blondeness' making my hair look the same as it did when I first got it coloured!

As I mentioned, I only use this once a week. I find I only need to use it once. The day before I use it, my hair begins to look a little brassy, but as soon as I wash it with the shampoo and conditioner I love the look of it!

You get 250ml, but looks can be deceiving. My only gripe is the saying 'a little goes a long way' doesn't apply to this product at all. I feel like I have to use loads to achieve the feeling of clean hair. That's another reason I only use it once a week, despite the fact it wouldn't be very healthy for your hair, you'd use up a whole bottle within two weeks!

Apart from that, this shampoo is great for anyone who has bleached or partly bleached their hair, it really works wonders and makes your hair so soft and shiny. I find myself getting compliments every time I use it!

They retail for £6.39 which isn't two bad value when you compare it to other shampoos and conditioners on the market. Also, Lee Stafford often has some sort of offer on his products, for example at Boots they are 3 for £12.

March Favourites

I say this every favourites post, but guess what, I'm gunna say it again- I can't believe how fast this month has gone by! I seems only a few weeks ago that it was February half term, and now its Easter half term! How time flies!

So here are the products I've been loving this month:

1. CLEARASIL PERFECTA WASH- Oh god, where to I start with this? It is just, amazing.Theirs no point messing around, it is the best face wash I have ever used! I have oily skin, and some face washes break me out really easily, but this is just perfect! I have also defiantly noticed a difference in the amount of spots I'm getting too! I am using the fruit extracts wash.
RRP: The mechanism is £12.99 (for a set including a wash) and refills are £4.99

2. BENEFIT B-RIGHT ITS POTENT EYE CREAM- In this monthly favourites, I have 3 products from the Benefit B-right range, quite frankly, because they are some of the best products I have ever used! Before I got this set, I had only really dabbled in eye cream, and I suppose I don't really need one now, but theres no harm in it! It has reduced my under eye bags by miles, and I find I barley have to use concealer under my eyes- what else could a girl ask for?!
RRP: £10 for the minis set, or original size- £23.50

3. BENEFIT B-RIGHT TOTAL MOISTURE FACIAL CREAM- Me and my friend got a sample of this some time last year, and when I finished it, I was gutted and was determined to get the proper size of it. In the end, I couldn't really justify spending that amount of money on a face cream (one day...) so I'll be re-purchasing this set in the near future! But back to the product- it is the creamiest, thickest, most lovely moisturiser in the world. And the smell is divine, as with all the range. It leaves my skin so soft, and its not lying when it says it says it brightens your skin!
RRP: £10 for the minis set, or original size- £26.50

4. BENEFIT B-RIGHT TRIPLE PERFORMING FACIAL EMULSION  SPF 15 PA++- This is the last one, I promise! Again, superb. This is a day moisturiser, and is oil free. It is the perfect base for makeup, as it doesn't leave skin with that greasy feel that some moisturisers do. All I'm waiting for now, is for Benefit to release a fragrance with the scent of this skincare line!

5. MAYBELLINE COLOUR TATTOO GEL CREAM EYESHADOW- I've done a review of this, so I wont bang on too much about it, but I have been wearing this nearly every day for the past week, and even in the scorching weather that the UK has received, it didn't budge at all! The colour is gorgeous and I have been getting compliments gallor! I cant wait to get some more shades!
RRP: £4.99

6. SOAP & GLORY HAND FOOD- I don't suffer with extremely bad dry hands, but they do sometimes feel rather malnourished, so I use a hand cream every night to top up on moisture. I love everything about this, the packaging, the smell, and the amazing product itself! Dry hands have now been banished!
RRP: £5

7. LIZ EARL CLEANSE AND POLISH HOT CLOTH CLEANSER- There's not many products that I re-purchase, as I like to try new things, but at late, I have been finding products that are becoming my 'holy grail' products! This being one of them! I've been back using this again for about a month, and my skin is really thanking me for it! It is so creamy and damn right brilliant! I recommend this to everyone, as it suits all skin types, and it just does wonders for your skin!
RRP: £13.50

8. TIGI ROCKAHOLIC DIRTY SECRETS DRY CONDITIONER: I found this at TKMaxx for a reduced price, and it is amazing! I find myself hardly ever using hair straighteners any more, so I just use this to create a sleek, shiny look. Unlike dry shampoo's it doesn't leave a white residue, it is just a clear spray. And although this sounds weird, it smells a lot better than normal sprays, as you would expect with Tigi!
RRP: £11.25 (£3 in TKMaxx)!

What are your favourites this month?

Hauling on a Sunny Day

Today, i popped into town, for a few bits, and those few bits turned into things that I just couldn't resist!

Firstly, I went into Topshop, and was just browsing the sale, when in my size, I found a dress in exactly the same style as the one in my wishlist, just in a different pattern. I just adore the crochet waistband!

The dress was originally £29, but £10 in the sale.

I was just going to pay, when next to the till was the accessories, and I thought this went with the dress!

This was in the sale for £1.50.

Next I went to TKMaxx, and was looking in the beauty section, when I saw this. I've never seen anything like it, and I was quite curious to see how it works!

Its the Tigi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Conditioner. I've used dry shampoo before, but never a dry conditioner, so I'm pretty excited to try this out! Its meant to get rid of any fly away hairs and frizzyness.

This was £3

Then I went into Boots, with my heart set on getting Soap & Glory Hand Food, as my current hand cream has run out.

£5.

After paying, I got given a voucher that was £5 of any No7 purchase. I like No7 makeup brushes. So I went to see if there was any I couldn't live without.

This is usually £7.23, but I got it for £2.25. Its the Eyeshadow Blend and Contour brush, and I'll use it for putting a darker shadow in my outer corner and crease.

I then got a new electric tooth brush. As I have my braces off, I can use one again.

Its just a random one from Bodycare, and it cost around £6.

Then the last thing, isn't really beauty related, but as its Mother's Day next weekend, I'm going to make some cupcakes, and these will be so adorable on them!

I got them in Lake land for £2.99. So cute!

I also got something else, but I'll do another post about that.

So that's it! I hope you enjoyed my impromptu haul!
