Fashion & Beauty Haul | Topshop, New Look, Boots & More

Hi Ladies. I have been doing a spot of shopping recently. This shopping is a mixture of things I bought in Cambridge with my friend Lauren, and the rest is a few bits and bobs I picked up after work yesterday. Some products are things I needed to repurchase, and others are just a little treat!

Miss Selfridge LOVE Crop Top
£18

I saw this top online and really liked the look of it, and when I tried it on instore, I knew it would be perfect to wear with high waisted shorts to the one day festival (Fusion Birmingham) I am going to.

Topshop Heart Shirt
£38

This is a classic shirt. Whilst it was pretty pricy, I know I will get a lot of wear out of it, as it will never get old. Also I thought it would be great for my upcoming work experience at my local newspaper.

New Look Striped Bodycon Dress
£12.99

I've got a party on Friday, and I loved this dress. Its so simple but yet flattering. Its also very modest, as it is just above the knee. Being 5:11, dresses can sometimes look incredibly short on me!

Office Bow Pumps
£25

I have been in desperate need of new shoes, and I adore this pair. They are so pretty and will really spice up a plain outfit. I really love the big statement bow too.

New Look Floral Pumps
£9.99

These were a complete bargain, and I have already got a lot of use out of them. I love wearing them with a simple white dress. They are so pretty, and great quality for the money.

New Look Statement Necklace
£4.99

I bought this to go with my dress for the party, and I love the combination. Kayleigh has got me into statement necklaces, and I know this one will not be my last!

Accessorize Earrings (was a pack of two)
£8

These came as a pack with a pink pair in too. I knew I wouldn't wear both of them as they are too similar, but I have been wanting a blue pair of earrings like this for quite some time now. In the end, me and Lauren paid half each, and now we both have a pair!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 05 Candy Shimmer
£17

These little beauties have been all over the blogosphere recently, and I have been lusting after them. I finally thought I would bite the bullet and buy one, and I can safely say, I have not been disappointed. Expect a review very soon!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation & Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Bourjois Cream Blush in Healthy Glow
Foundation: £8.99, Powder: £3.99, Blush (offer) £6.99, Concealer: £5.49

These are just some bits I have been needing to repurchase. I was fast running out of foundation, concealer and powder, so I bought my favourites. I also bought a cream blush as they look really lovely.

Korres Plum Lip Butter
£7

I remember looking at these in one of my favourite shops Oliver Bonas, way before they were popular in the blogging world. I hadn't got round to buying one until now, but I'm so glad I did. They are really lovely and effortless to wear.

Topshop Lipstick in Macaroon
£8

This has been on my wishlist for a LONG time. I love Topshop lipsticks and this is a perfect summer colour. Next on my list is Infrared. The infamous bright orange!

St Moriz Self Spray Tan
£2.99

I bought this as a quick fix when I can't be bothered to fake tan (and that's a lot of the time). St Moriz is raved about a lot so I thought I would give it a go.

So there is my recent purchases. I have gone a bit crazy recently! I make myself feel better by saying its for the good of my blog!

Cambridge Wishlist

Topshop Floral Lace Crop Top, Topshop Spot Print Skater Skirt, MAC Satin Taupe, Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector, REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, Bourjois Cream Blush 02, MAC 217, Topshop Macaroon Lipstick.

On Thursday, one of my best friends and I are travelling up to Cambridge for a couple of days for some sight-seeing, shopping and to visit her brother who is currently studying at Cambridge University. I've heard some mixed reviews about shopping in Cambridge, and having never been myself, I'm not entirely sure what is there, but I have devised a wishlist never the less!

Last week, I was in town with my friend Holly and we had a little try-on session in Topshop. I put together this little duo, and really loved the way it looked. The Floral Lace Crop Top and Spot Print Skater Skirt went really well together, and are classic items of clothing that are never going to be out of fashion. I have had my eye on MAC Satin Taupe for absolutely ages but have never got round to purchasing it. I cant wait to pair it with MAC Naked Lunch as the combination is well known for being one of Tanya's favourites. The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector's have made quite an impact on the blogging world, and I for one have buckled under the hype and really want to try one. Judging by the pictures I have seen online and swatched instore, I think Candy Shimmer is the shade for me. If you haven't heard of the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask you must have been living under a rock because every beauty blogger and their dog has been raving about it. I am hoping it will tackle my blemishes and leave me with the glowing, radiant complexion I lust after. Another product raved about of late is the Bourjois Cream Blush. I think 02 Healthy Glow will be the shade I will go for. I have never tried MAC brushes, and I intend the 217 Blending Brush to be my debut into the world of MAC brushes. It is used in so many makeup tutorials on youtube and looks as though it applies eyeshadow effortlessly. Last but not least is Topshop Macaroon Lipstick which looks like a beautiful, easy to wear colour for summer.

What is on your wishlist?

Wednesday Wishlist #14

1. Topshop Red Double Layer Tube Skirt- I have never owned a maxi skirt, but I love the way they look on. They are really on trend this season, and this deep red colour is perfect for a/w. I think pairing with a leather jacket and studs/spiked will give it amazing edge!
RRP: £20

2. Ebay Premium Shamballa Bracelet in Salmon- When I go to America, I am planning on buying a Michel Kors Rose Gold Watch. Recently, I have been on the hunt for rose gold jewellery. Whilst browsing Ebay, I came across this bracelet from this seller. I do really like this bracelets, and it is at a really reasonable price (also buy one get one free) and although they are not real, and wont be the best quality, it is only costume jewellery that looks nice!
RRP: £5.75 with free delivery

3. Topshop Inhabited Lipstick- For a/w I really want a purply lipstick. Recently I have become a little obsessed with Topshop makeup, unfortunately, my local Topshop doesn't sell makeup, so I have to wait till I go away! This colour looks amazing on the photos Ive seen and I have heard great reviews!
RRP: £8

4. Topshop Laid Back Lipgloss- FleurDeForce has featured this lipgloss in two of her videos now, and it looks like one I have to have in my collection! It looks really natural on, and is great for everyday wear. Apparently they are even better than MAC Lipglasses!
RRP: £6

5. Ebay Spike Bracelet- Again, I think this would go really well with a Michel Kors Rose Gold Watch. I really like Spike Bracelets; I think they are really cool and give an outfit an edge. They are available from this seller and are available in up to three rows and colours.
RRP: The one I want is £1.79 with free delivery

TAG | 10 Products I Would Repurchase

I have seen this TAG floating around the Internet, and thought it was right up my street. These are 10 products that I will repurchase when they run out, and that are, in my opinion, worth the money!

1. Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation- This is, hands down, my favourite drug store/ high street foundation. I have a very old review here. It is really amazing, and today, I think I got the very last bit out. Once I've used up my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, I'll defiantly be buying a new one!
RRP: £8.99

2. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat- I use this usually only on special occasions, as it has such a hefty price tag, but when I do, it gives my face such radiance. I use it under my eyes, on my cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow. It is such a beautiful, luxury product that I really enjoy using! I use it sparingly, so it will last a while!
RRP: £24.50

3. Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara- I am currently in the process of using up all of my mascaras that I have on the go. When I am mascaraless, this will be the one I go for! Its hard to believe, but I have never bought the same mascara twice- not because I haven't liked it, but because I like to branch out and try new ones, but this mascara has stood out as my favourite!
RRP: £7.99

4. Topshop Cream Blush in Flush- For school, this is the blush I reach for. As much as I love my MAC blush, there is a little too much shimmer, and I usually opt for the more natural look. This blush blends beautifully, and is the perfect colour for me. I have a full review here.
RRP: £6

5. MUA Professional Eye Primer- This eye primer has been my favourite for ages now. For me, it trumps Urban Decay Primer Potion. I have oily lids, and this primer ensures my eyeshadow stays on all day, no matter what the weather.
RRP: £2.50

6. Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner 24h- My full review for this product is here. Having only ever used pencil and liquid liners before this one, I wasn't really sure what to expect from gel, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I love the consistency, and it is really easy to work with.
RRP: £7.99

7. MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy- Sometimes I feel a black eyeliner can be a little too intense on me. So most days, I wear this in my water and tight line. It is a lot more natural looking, and MAC eyeliners are so pigmented, you barley need to press on your eye! This one is such an unusual colour too, I haven't seen many shimmery bronzes on the market. My full review is here.
RRP: £14

8. Technic Highlights- This is a dupe for Benefits Highbeam, available at Bodycare. It is really inexpensive. I own both and I prefer the consistency of this one. It gives exactly the same finish, if not better!
RRP: £1.99

9. Collection Cream Puff in Cotton Candy- I have been using these nearly everyday, and have had a lot of compliments. They are so easy to wear, and you can pair them with a lipstick as well as on their own. They are really moisturising. Not to mention great value for money!
RRP: £2.99

10. Urban Decay Naked Palette- This and my MAC Palette are my most used and loved eyeshadows, but I decided to include this one in the TAG as my MAC palette isn't full. I love all the colours in this palette and they are just amazing quality. I wont babble on, as I've gone about it so much before, but it really is one amazing palette!
RRP: £35

As this is a tag, I thought it would be appropriate to tag some fellow bloggers!
I tag:

 Alex
and you! If you decided to do this tag, leave me a link in the comments, I'd love to have a nose!

(Late) Wednesday Wishlist #6

Sorry I'm a bit late with this wishlist, but I was away yesterday, leaving me no time to create one!

1. H&M Black Jersey Maxi Dress- This item is really simple, but is something I'm dying to have to dress up. It is really laid back, and perfect for those summer days when you just want to dress low key. I would pair it with statement accessories, and maybe something similar to my second piece of clothing.
RRP: £14.99-£19.99

2. H&M Blue Blazer- I love wearing blazers. I own a black one, but have never ventured out into other colours. I'm looking for a bright coloured one to wear in the summer evenings, and then a lighter shade for when it gets cooler. I adore the royal blue colour too!
RRP: £14.99

3. Topshop Cream Lace Top Ankle Socks-  I think these are just adorable. Paired with a skater dress and heels- it would be the ultimate summer outfit. Being as tall as I am (5:11) I do have doubts as to whether I would look a bit stupid, but if you are a little more petite, you may be able to pull it off!
RRP: £3.50

4. Yves Saint Laurent Le Tient Touche Eclat- I recently got a sample of this foundation, (review to come) and have fallen in love with it. It is a perfect summer foundation- rivalling my Chanel Vitalumier Aqua. It is incredibly lightweight with a gorgeous natural finish. When I finish my generous sample, I think I will be heading to a YSL counter!
RRP: £28

Say Hello, Wave Goodbye

Today was another event that I went to was due to my sister. It was her end of Primary school party, and she arrived with her friends in a limo. Here's a picture of her:

Here what I was wearing this afternoon:

Shorts: Topshop
Top: H&M
Ring: The Prettiest Things
Bracelet: Topshop
Sandals: Primark
Sunglasses: Primark
Earrings: Forever 21

I'm thinking of doing a video tutorial on my youtube channel.

Its quite a summery look, with gold eyeshadow with a pop of colour on the waterline, the orange and blue tones clashing to create a quirky look.

I heard Tanya talking about how much she loves MAC Woodwinked with a blue eyeliner, and when I tried it out for myself, I really liked it!

What are your thoughts?

Wednesday Wishlist #4

1. Missguided Hanssil Wrap Over Asymmetric Skirt- I'm umming and arring about buying this skirt. I first saw it on one of my fashion icons, (picture below) and tried to find a dupe. I made an order with Missguided the other day and ordered a dress that I wanted, and was about to buy this as well, when I seeked some motherly advice. The conclusion was; would I wear it enough to benefit buying it? As its not this sort of garment that is timeless, its going to go out of fashion pretty quickly. But now, I kind of wish I'd bought it. I think Ill sleep on it!
RRP: £14.99

Eleanor Calder rocking an almost identical skirt!

2. Topshop Ponte Boyfriend Blazer- I wear my black blazer a lot, and I am looking for one in a lighter colour, that is more suitable for this kind of year; although I shouldn't need a blazer for this time of year! (Curse British weather)! I really like the look of this blazer, it looks really fitted, and really feminine.
RRP: £40

3. Chanel Coco Rouge Hydrating Crème Lip Colour in Magnolia- This lipstick shade is the one on the Chanel advert, and I fell in love with it instantly. It is a beautiful light shimmery pink that is perfect for summer! Despite the hefty price tag, I think this lipstick needs to be added to my collection! I will defiantly be swatching it when I'm next at a Chanel counter!
RRP: £24

4. Topshop Knitted Multi Hearts Jumper- I know, I know, you're probably thinking, why is a jumper on a wishlist in July, we haven't even had summer and your thinking about winter?! With the current climate, a loose knit light jumper is exactly what I want to be wearing! It is the sort of item, that can be worn all year, with shorts, over a vest top, or with jeans. And the print is just so cute!
RRP: £36

Wednesday Wishlist #1

In the past, I've made a few wishlists, but never got round to keeping them up, but after reading my fair share of wishlists today, I thought it was about time I started making them myself!

1. Topshop Moto Zip Hem Neon 7th/8th Jeans- These will be just perfect for summer! Knowing British weather, I dont know how much sun my shorts (or legs!) will see, so these quarter legth bright pink jeans will be perfect for those days when your torn between your winter jeans and your hotpants!
Currently on sale for £15, RRP £38. Here.

2. Vintage Minnie Mouse for OPI- My perfect OPI collection! What girl doesnt adore a stunnig combination of reds, fushias, glitters and creamy pinks! The colours L-R are If You Moust You Moust, I'm All Ears, The Colour Of Minnie & Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It. I know I definatly have my eye on the first two, from the photos I've seen from fellow bloggers, they are absolutly stunning!
£10.50 each, and available at some department stores, online and salons.

3. Topshop Sleeveless Peplum Top in Magenta- Peplum tops and dresses are everywhere. Celebrities worldwide are sporting them, as they claim, to create the illusion of a smaller waist. I've seen this particular top on a few people now, and it looks really flattering on.
£16 here.

4. Look Triple Hit Trio Eye Shadow in La Luxe- I know I'm a bit late on the badwago here, I remember whe reviews for this palete were everywhere, but I never really paid much attetion to it. But when I was in Birmingham, I came across my first Look counter, and swatched these eyeshadows out of curiosity, and I fell in love! The pigmentation is amazing, and the three colours are so pretty!
Curretly on sale for £4.50, RRP £7.50. Here.
