September Favourites

Seriously. How is it October already? Oh my god! Anyway, here are my September Favourites!

1. Chanel Vitalumier Foundation- When I bought this foundation, I knew I was only going to wear this on special occasions, because of the price tag, I really don't want to wear it on a day to day basis! This month, I have had a few chances to wear it, and because I haven't worn it for a while, I fell back in love with it! It makes my skin look so flawless and perfect, I just love it so much! Although it is one of the most expensive products I own, it is totally worth it!
RRP: £32

2. Rimmel London Mono Blush in Santa Rose- Last week, I did a review of this blush, you can read it here so I wont go into too much detail, but this blush is amazing! It is really pigmented, and a gorgeous colour and for the price, it is amazing value!
RRP: £3.99

3. Maybelline 24h Gel Eyeliner- Again, I have a review of this here and this isn't the first time it has been in a monthly favourites. This month, I have been wearing this eyeliner every single day. For school, I have been wearing just a bit of this on my eyes instead of my usual natural eyeshadow; which is saying something, as I was never much of an eyeliner wearer for everyday! But it is just so quick and easy and lasts all day!
RRP: £7.99

4. Urban Decay Naked Palette Colours in Sin, Toasted and Hustle-

Whenever I have been going out, I have been wearing a combination of these colours. I have used Sin all over my lid first, then Toasted in my crease and Hustle in my outer V. Purple tones really compliment my green eyes, and I think these colours look beautiful together.
RRP: £32

Here are some FOTD pictures of me wearing the makeup I have spoken about above:

5. Redken Colour Extend- I received this in a She Said Beauty Box, and never really thought that much of it. But since I had my hair ombred, I have been reaching for this every day. It makes my hair so soft and shiny and really intensifies the blonde in my hair.
Not sure of the price as this is a sample size.

6. Avon Super Shock Mascara- I have used this mascara before, and I was given this as a gift a few weeks ago and remembered how much I liked it. It gives me really full looking lashes, and has a really big brush. If you don't like dry mascaras though, I would stay clear, as it is very dry!
Again, not sure of the price as it was a gift

7. Soap and Glory Flake Away- As it is fall now, soft legs should be the least of my worries, but with Florida coming up, I am keeping them in good condition! I bought this mini size exfoliator as I have read really good reviews about it, and I can see why! It leaves my legs so soft, especially using my Victoria's Secret Body Oil afterwards!
RRP: £2.50

My Week in Photos #28

Pizza 1D  Boots Haul  The Lucky One  Dollars  Chocolate

In Food Technology this week, I made a chicken and chorizo pizza, which tasted nicer than it looks! One Direction let out their new sing this week, Live While We're Young I can safely say, it has been on replay since Thursday! I love it! Make sure you check it out! Ok. Fangirl moment over!
I bought a few bits and pieces throughout the week. In Morrisons, I found a Rimmel blush for half price, I just couldn't leave it. Especially as it is one that Tanya Burr recommends! I also repurchased my Wake Me Up Foundation and Soap and Glory Flake Away.
I had a lovely girly sleepover this week, and we watched The Lucky One for the first time! Zac Efron!!!! It wasn't as sad as I was expecting it to be, but I enjoyed it never the less. (Theres not a Nicholas Sparks novel that has been turned into a film that I haven't liked)!
In preparation for Florida, I exchanged some dollars, and enjoyed a few sneaky chocolate buttons in the bath today!

Hope you had a lovely week!

March Favourites

I say this every favourites post, but guess what, I'm gunna say it again- I can't believe how fast this month has gone by! I seems only a few weeks ago that it was February half term, and now its Easter half term! How time flies!

So here are the products I've been loving this month:

1. CLEARASIL PERFECTA WASH- Oh god, where to I start with this? It is just, amazing.Theirs no point messing around, it is the best face wash I have ever used! I have oily skin, and some face washes break me out really easily, but this is just perfect! I have also defiantly noticed a difference in the amount of spots I'm getting too! I am using the fruit extracts wash.
RRP: The mechanism is £12.99 (for a set including a wash) and refills are £4.99

2. BENEFIT B-RIGHT ITS POTENT EYE CREAM- In this monthly favourites, I have 3 products from the Benefit B-right range, quite frankly, because they are some of the best products I have ever used! Before I got this set, I had only really dabbled in eye cream, and I suppose I don't really need one now, but theres no harm in it! It has reduced my under eye bags by miles, and I find I barley have to use concealer under my eyes- what else could a girl ask for?!
RRP: £10 for the minis set, or original size- £23.50

3. BENEFIT B-RIGHT TOTAL MOISTURE FACIAL CREAM- Me and my friend got a sample of this some time last year, and when I finished it, I was gutted and was determined to get the proper size of it. In the end, I couldn't really justify spending that amount of money on a face cream (one day...) so I'll be re-purchasing this set in the near future! But back to the product- it is the creamiest, thickest, most lovely moisturiser in the world. And the smell is divine, as with all the range. It leaves my skin so soft, and its not lying when it says it says it brightens your skin!
RRP: £10 for the minis set, or original size- £26.50

4. BENEFIT B-RIGHT TRIPLE PERFORMING FACIAL EMULSION  SPF 15 PA++- This is the last one, I promise! Again, superb. This is a day moisturiser, and is oil free. It is the perfect base for makeup, as it doesn't leave skin with that greasy feel that some moisturisers do. All I'm waiting for now, is for Benefit to release a fragrance with the scent of this skincare line!

5. MAYBELLINE COLOUR TATTOO GEL CREAM EYESHADOW- I've done a review of this, so I wont bang on too much about it, but I have been wearing this nearly every day for the past week, and even in the scorching weather that the UK has received, it didn't budge at all! The colour is gorgeous and I have been getting compliments gallor! I cant wait to get some more shades!
RRP: £4.99

6. SOAP & GLORY HAND FOOD- I don't suffer with extremely bad dry hands, but they do sometimes feel rather malnourished, so I use a hand cream every night to top up on moisture. I love everything about this, the packaging, the smell, and the amazing product itself! Dry hands have now been banished!
RRP: £5

7. LIZ EARL CLEANSE AND POLISH HOT CLOTH CLEANSER- There's not many products that I re-purchase, as I like to try new things, but at late, I have been finding products that are becoming my 'holy grail' products! This being one of them! I've been back using this again for about a month, and my skin is really thanking me for it! It is so creamy and damn right brilliant! I recommend this to everyone, as it suits all skin types, and it just does wonders for your skin!
RRP: £13.50

8. TIGI ROCKAHOLIC DIRTY SECRETS DRY CONDITIONER: I found this at TKMaxx for a reduced price, and it is amazing! I find myself hardly ever using hair straighteners any more, so I just use this to create a sleek, shiny look. Unlike dry shampoo's it doesn't leave a white residue, it is just a clear spray. And although this sounds weird, it smells a lot better than normal sprays, as you would expect with Tigi!
RRP: £11.25 (£3 in TKMaxx)!

What are your favourites this month?

Hauling on a Sunny Day

Today, i popped into town, for a few bits, and those few bits turned into things that I just couldn't resist!

Firstly, I went into Topshop, and was just browsing the sale, when in my size, I found a dress in exactly the same style as the one in my wishlist, just in a different pattern. I just adore the crochet waistband!

The dress was originally £29, but £10 in the sale.

I was just going to pay, when next to the till was the accessories, and I thought this went with the dress!

This was in the sale for £1.50.

Next I went to TKMaxx, and was looking in the beauty section, when I saw this. I've never seen anything like it, and I was quite curious to see how it works!

Its the Tigi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Conditioner. I've used dry shampoo before, but never a dry conditioner, so I'm pretty excited to try this out! Its meant to get rid of any fly away hairs and frizzyness.

This was £3

Then I went into Boots, with my heart set on getting Soap & Glory Hand Food, as my current hand cream has run out.

£5.

After paying, I got given a voucher that was £5 of any No7 purchase. I like No7 makeup brushes. So I went to see if there was any I couldn't live without.

This is usually £7.23, but I got it for £2.25. Its the Eyeshadow Blend and Contour brush, and I'll use it for putting a darker shadow in my outer corner and crease.

I then got a new electric tooth brush. As I have my braces off, I can use one again.

Its just a random one from Bodycare, and it cost around £6.

Then the last thing, isn't really beauty related, but as its Mother's Day next weekend, I'm going to make some cupcakes, and these will be so adorable on them!

I got them in Lake land for £2.99. So cute!

I also got something else, but I'll do another post about that.

So that's it! I hope you enjoyed my impromptu haul!

February Favourites

February has been an eventful month! With my big weekend in London, and getting tickets to see One Direction. I've done quite a bit of shopping this month, so a lot of the products shown in this post, you might have seen in some of my recent hauls.

1. RIMMEL LONDON WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION- I've been using this foundation for about 2 weeks now, and I love the way it makes my skin look! It is my perfect foundation, it gives a beautiful dewy finish, and makes my skin glow! It is not very full coverage, but that's how I like my foundation. If you like a dewy look, I defiantly recommend it!
RRP- £8.99

2. L'OREAL PARIS TELESCOPIC MASCARA- I've been using this mascara for the same amount of time, and I'm really impressed! It is one of the best mascaras I've ever used! It gives everything, volume, length and no clumps! The brush is really nice, and although it does have that really obvious mascara smell, I really love it!
RRP- £10.99

3. MAC MINERALIZE SKIN  FINISH NATURAL- This is my new go-to powder! I use a fluffy brush to apply a small amount all over my face, and it sets my makeup (nearly) all day. I have found myself blotting not nearly as much! The colour is perfect, and the pigmentation is superb! This should be a staple in every girls makeup bag!
RRP: £20.50

4. TOPSHOP CREAM BLUSH in FLUSH- I've always looked at cream blushers, but never brought myself to buy one. I'm so glad I did! I was planning on getting a MAC one, but I found them quite sticky, compared to the Topshop on, which dries to powder form. The colour looks really bright in the pan, but it gives the most gorgeous natural flush (hence the name!) to the cheeks! I'm looking forward to investing in the Neon Rose colour for summer!
RRP: £6

5. BARRY M NAIL PAINT in MINT GREEN- You may have gathered, that I am a bit of a Barry M addict! I have a little ambition to collect every colour! But I wore Mint Green on my nails last weekend, and I got so many compliments! It's really vivid on the nails, and a lovely pastel colour for spring!
RRP: £2.99

6. THE BODY SHOP CRANBERRY JOY HAND CREAM- I have noticed, that recently, I've been getting really dry hands, so I began using my hand cream, that I must admit, I neglected. But it smells divine, and is really moisturising. It is a Christmas Edition, so not available at the moment!
RRP: £4

7. SOAP AND GLORY RIGHTEOUS BUTTER- Its getting into spring now, and I'm starting to get back into the routine of shaving and moisturising again. I'm afraid to say, I slack a bit in the winter! But this is one of my favourite body butters, along with The Body Shop ones. Every time I use it, and go downstairs, my mum always says 'Oooh, you smell nice, what are you wearing?'.
RRP: £2.50 (travel size)

8. PERCY & REED QUITE FRANKLY FLAWLESS FINISHING POLISH- I am a subscriber to Glamour, and last week, it came in the post, along side this hair product. Hair products are something I always like to try and use, so I was excited about using it. It smells lovely. I put a small amount in freshly washed hair, and it gives it an extra bit of shine and tames those retched fly away hairs. Its amazing!
RRP: £12

9. CLEARASIL RAPID ACTION TREATMENT CREAM- Unfortunately, I have been suffering with spots a bit this month. Ive had one whopper on my chin that has caused nothing but grief! But by using this spot cream, I have found them decreasing a little by size and redness. It does what it says on the tin! I might to a post about my favourite spot creams...
RRP: £6.39

Sorry this post is late, I started writing it on Thursday, and you know how it is, 'I'll finish it later' and later turns out to be 3 days!

What are your favourites of the month? I'd love to know!
